PAT Bending Plate System®
IRD-PAT Bending Plate scales fit the requirements for WIM applications including traffic monitoring, overload detection, toll applications and data collection for road maintenance and planning. The Bending Plates are robust with excellent long term stability and a life span of more than 10 years. Bending Plates can weigh vehicles travelling over the scales at speeds between 5 km/h to 200 km/h.
The PAT Bending Plate from IRD is used for Weigh-in-Motion (WIM). The importance of measuring the loads of driving road vehicles has increased enormously. Traffic safety, the protection of road infrastructure and statistical data are the main purpose of Weigh-in-Motion equipment.
The stationary weigh pads are delivered in two sizes for different width of lanes: WP 1250 and WP1750
